Dr Sashika Darshani is a fellow member (FRACGP) of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). She obtained her primary medical qualification (Bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery) in 2005 from University of Ruhuna in Sri Lanka.
Dr Darshani has been practicing as a General Practitioner in Australia for more than 5 years in many GP clinics in rural and metropolitan Victoria. Before becoming a General Practitioner, she worked in a leading teaching hospital and medical centres in Sri Lanka. She has special interest in General Medicine, Women’s Health, Geriatric Medicine, preventive care, intensive Care, Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesia.
Dr Darshani lives in Melbourne with her husband and two children. She spends her leisure time cooking dishes from all around the world, reading general subjects and travelling. She is a well-organized personality, always finding smart ways to manage her time and tasks
